Major Movie Star is a comedy with Jessica Simpson playing the star role. The movie is about an actress down on her luck with trying to impress a producer and studio that she's fit for their upcoming military-themed movie. To win the role and prove them wrong, she joins the Army. Jessica Simpson has said she is taking on the movie because "it is something Goldie Hawn (star of Private Benjamin) would do.
