Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey Phone Calls Upset Vanessa Minnillo

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey still keep in touch with each other and we have stated before that Jessica still buys clothing for Nick who admits he's a terrible dresser. In an interview to be released soon in Elle Magazine Jessica says she's still in contact with Nick Lachey all the time. "He's is so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy who's going to be with me has to understand that."

Perhaps Nick should make the same statement. Star Magazine reports Nick's girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo is upset that the two former 'Newlyweds' are still communicating with each other. In this week's upcoming issue of the weekly entertainment magazine they are reporting Nick thinks honesty is the best policy (which it is) but it's causing problems in his love life. Vanessa Minnillo, the MTV host recently became so angry and lost emotional control as Nick told her he had talked on the phone with ex-wife Jessica Simpson.

Why did Vanessa go ballistic? If he's truly over Jessica. Well Vanessa is still suspicious of his feelings for Jessica. Friends say Vanessa has no reason to worry. Nick has talked about marrying Vanessa, and there was even rumors he had already proposed to her and he didn't want to keep Jessica in the dark by the news. They'll work it out even though Jessica is still an issue between them. Vanessa, in the meantime should probably chill as I don't think it's very attractive to be showing this side of herself to Nick, a close friend says.
