John Mayer Never Denied Dating Jessica Simpson

John Mayer is no longer talking in Japanese, at least publicly like he did at the 2007 Grammy Awards when he was asked about Jessica Simpson. The couple have been together throughout Mayer's national tour and the singer/songwriter is happy that the pair are officially a couple after months of gossip. John Mayer told Time Out New York magazine, that "I'm having the best time of my life, so if the names don't make sense to people, that's so small to me."

The "Your Body Is A Wonderland" singer who captured the heart of Tinseltown's bachelorette, Jessica Simpson has said he never denied dating the singer/actress. Mayer said, "I don't think I've ever denied it. When did I deny it?" This is the first "public affair" for Jessica since her divorce from Nick Lachey last year who split up after their "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica reality show wrapped up. John Mayer had previously been linked to Heidi Klum and Jennifer Love Hewitt while Jessica had been rumored to be linked to her co-star, Dane Cook from Employee Of The Month and Luke Wilson from Blonde Ambition.
