No Porn Role For Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has rejected a role as a porn star for a movie guaranteed to get the 27-year-old an Oscar. Winning an Academy Award is just going to have to wait for the pop singer turned actress who is currently in Louisiana filming "Major Movie Star".

The role would have blown away Jessica's previous roles in "Dukes of Hazzard" and "Employee of the Month." Jessica's father and manager, Joe Simpson, has already killed the idea of his daughter starring on the movie, but it's Jessica first rejected the role.

Speaking to People Magazine about his "Blonde Ambition" daughter, Joe Simpson said, "The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star. We were promised we would win an Oscar with that," said Simpson, 49. "I was like, Eh, we'll just buy a little man (referring to The Oscar statue) and keep our clothes on."

Joe Simpson said both Ashlee Simpson and Jessica Simpson are very busy and happy. Joe said, "Jessica has three more movies to shoot (Major Movie Star, The Witness and The Kentucky Fried Horror Show), she has a new record coming in September. If the right role came up, of course, we'd never turn that down."

Since Jessica turned down the role, actress Scarlett Johansson has turned down the role as porn star, Jenna Jameson as well.
