Jessica Simpson Father Upsets Britney Spears Family

Joe Simpson, the father and manager of daughters Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson has reportedly upset Britney Spears family and even her record label when he claimed his daughters will never be in rehab like Britney Spears. At the time Joe said, "I would never let that happen to my daughters. Hopefully, her family will take care of the situation." According to Star Magazine Joe is "embarrassing his daughters" by "talking about Britney." "Everybody from Britney Spears family down to her record label is fuming mad."

Joe Simpson has always seen Britney Spears as a direct competitor in the music world for his daughters. Now that Britney is having rough times her family thinks it's wrong to be kicking her when she's down. Britney Spears was released from the $48,000 a month Promises treatment facility in Malibu, California today after "successfully completing the program." Said her manager, Larry Rudolph. We don't think Britney or her family has anyone to blame but Britney herself. We think Joe Simpson sees it as Britney Spears problems opens door for Jessica. What's your thoughts?

Wedding rumors surround the celebrity couple, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo weekly, it seems. They seem like a match made in heaven to many, but so far all wedding rumors have been just that, rumors. In this week's issue of Star Magazine they deliberate about Lachey's ex-wife Jessica Simpson and John Mayer's red hot relationship and whether there will be a marriage ceremony soon. All rumors about John Mayer and Jessica Simpson getting married in May have proved fruitless thus far. The Star asks will Jessica Simpson, 26, overtake ex-husband Nick Lachey, 33, and his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo in the race to the altar?

The Star reports during Jessica Simpson and John Mayer trip to Rome they were seen at Cartier looking at diamond rings. The report says "she's the one he wants to settle down with," according to friends of John. Mayer says "she has all the right ingredients, and she makes me laugh." John feels he has found his soulmate. Mayer said he wants to have a wife, a home, and a stable career before he turned 30 years old. John will turn 30 years old on October 16, 2007. You can expect a low-key proposal and wedding ceremony when their schedules clear up said a source. Don't expect a big fancy Texan style wedding like what daddy, Joe Simpson put on for his daughter last time. Also, you have to wonder when their schedules will clear up. Now that Blonde Ambition is done filming, she is working on a new video You Spin Me 'Round (Like A Record) for the promotion of the movie. She is also scheduled to start filming "The Witness" and has been rumored to be the new X Factor judge for the series this fall.
