Simpson and Mayer in Rome

Jessica Simpson got a break from filming "Blonde Ambition" and her boyfriend John Mayer from his concert performances (His next concert is April, 17 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario) got on an overnight flight Thursday morning in New York's JFK International Airport to spend time together in the Eternal City of Rome, Italy. John Mayer and the Employee of the Month star with her five suitcases (Jessica doesn't travel lightly) checked into a luxury suite at Hotel De Russie in Rome at a rate of $2,000 a night.

The couple then ate a leisurely lunch at Rome's Dal Bolognese. "They were smiling and laughing and just having a good time," a waiter at the restaurant told Usmagazine. "There was also a lot of hand holding going on." The happy couple then spent the rest of their day at the famous "Via del Corso" street window shopping. Simpson wearing five inch heels took a fall on the cobble street on their way back. Jessica wasn't hurt and laughed about falling.

Jessica Simpson a Photographer?

Jessica Simpson, singer, actress and now a photographer? Jessica Simpson recently told MTV that she plans to release a book about the photographs she has taken. Jessica said the photos are mostly of landscapes,the sky and clouds. Jessica keeps a journal and enters her thoughts related to the photographs. "I know exactly what I was going through when I was taking the picture, and I write it down as I take the picture, so it will be that kind of book." Simpson said. Jessica also said she carries multiple cameras with her.

"Some are better for certain shots" Jessica also mentioned a memorable photograph she had taken in Africa of a "double rainbow." "It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life, and I did not know that it could even exist. I had never seen anything so magical, and I captured it, and I always have it to look back on." Jessica has been a very busy girl lately with the filming of "Blonde Ambition" still taking place and plans to start filming her next movie, "The Witness" by the end of March. Now plans for a book of her photos in the future. Very busy indeed.
