Jessica Simpson Meets John Mayer at New York Hotel

Jessica Simpson, 27, was staying at New York's SoHo Grand Hotel Tuesday night where she was tipped off her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, 29, was waiting in the hotel's lobby for a friend. Jessica tried to doll herself up quickly for a run in with the ex but decided that wasn't such a great idea.

A friend of Jessica's told OK! Magazine: Upon hearing news that she could run into him, she got very tense and nervous about seeing him and started primping and adjusting her clothes.

You could tell she didn't want to see him. Since the two parted ways in the spring, they have remained on friendly terms, texting and talking on the phone, but they have yet to physically see each other, her friend adds. It's the idea that looking good is the best revenge."

With Jessica not knowing, her assistant Adrienne Sands coordinated with hotel staff to ask John to either go to his friend's room or leave altogether. When told the reason for being asked to leave, according to an eyewitness, "John laughed and said, ‘Sure.’ He didn't cause a scene. He said to give Jess a big hug for him.

Of all the hotel lobbies in the world, John had to walk into Jessica's. Next time Jess, don't stay at the same hotel's John and yourself frequented while in New York.

The bodacious singer turned actress broke her nose while filming 'Major Movie Star.'
The military-themed movie is about a Hollywood actress who joins the military to prove to a producer and film studio she's perfect for their upcoming military movie. The sexy blond who is known for her curves as well as her dumb blond moments accidentally hit herself in the face with a gun while running.

Jessica Said, "I was running with a gun over my head and fell over and broke my nose, it really hurt!" Just proves Jessica Simpson is incapable of doing two things at once.

Jessica Simpson recently had stated her nose is her favorite feature. The 27-year-old actress continues filming Major Movie Star in Louisiana while there's still no word on whether her Blonde Ambition movie will make it to theatres. Rumor was it may be released directly to DVD.

Jessica Simpson broke her nose but we doubt it damaged her pride. Hope your broken nose heals fine Jess.

Jessica's rep confirmed that Jessica did hit herself in the nose with a gun while filming Major Movie Star but Jessica didn't break her nose, she severely bruised her nose. Filming of the movie is continuing with the use of plenty of makeup while waiting for the swelling to subside. They hope Jessica's nose returns to the normal shape.
