Simpson Donates Van To Orphanage In Mexico

Jessica Simpson, the star of the upcoming movie Blonde Ambition has donated the Chrysler Crossfire sports car she won last year at the MTV Video Music Awards. Simpson asked the car company if she could exchange it for a minivan so she could donate it to a orphanage in Mexico. The minivan was donated to the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. A source told PEOPLE last week that Mama Lupita (who is in charge at the orphanage) if they could use a new minivan. "Of course we could use it!" Mama Lupita replied. They then told her Jessica Simpson was donating a seven passenger van to her orphanage. Mama Lupita cried for three minutes straight and when she finished crying said "I can't wait to give Jessica a big hug!"

The sexy red dress that Jessica wore in the new Pizza Hut commercial that first aired during the Super Bowl is being auctioned off on the popular online auction site "eBay". The proceeds will also be donated to help Casa Hogar Elim christian orphanage in Mexico. "The orphanage means so much to Jessica. She wants to help Guadalupe "Mamma Lupita" Carmona and everyone in the orphanage." There is presently over 100 children at the orphanage. The Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage is privately run and funded through private donations and receives no funding from the Mexican government.
