The Kentucky Fried Horror Show Starring Jessica Simpson?

Jessica Simpson to star in horror movie?

Jessica Simpson might be the new queen of horror by starring in The Kentucky Fried Horror Show. The producer and director C. L. Gregory, who owns the production company Midnite Films is in final negotiations with Jessica Simpson for their latest project to be filmed later this year. C. L. Gregory and his company has produced B horror films such as Blood Lake, Vampire Diaries and many others in the past.

Jessica Simpson just finished filming Blonde Ambition in her first leading role and the movie will be released later this year. Jessica is also scheduled to star in The Witness, to be released in 2008, may be adding her first horror movie to her biography instead of the horror witnessed earlier this week in what we called an wardrobe malfunction. Violent horror films has seen a growing success and appeal lately and Gregory is banking on The Kentucky Fried Horror Show to give horror fans their money's worth. "Jessica Simpson is the girl that can become the next horror scream queen." said Gregory. Simpson seems anxious to get on board and star in her first horror film.

Gregory said "I felt that the script needed someone that could carry the weight of its character and without doubt, Jessica was my first and only consideration for the role. She's never done a horror film to date and we felt she was ready for a project like this as it will be a very emotional and demanding piece of work for her. But I don't see anyone who can pull it off better than Jessica Simpson."

When asked about The Kentucky Fried Horror Show Gregory said, "I wanted to put the grind back into grindhouse." Gregory added, "The movie is simply about a group of college kids on spring break that head to Florida from New York via road trip. Once they get into Kentucky things change from good to bad when they encounter a murderous southern religious cult that has an appetite for blood letting."

"I'm literally taking my background growing up in the southern Pentecostal movement that brought us the likes of Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Jones and whose influence, more bad than good, has helped cause the division in our current political climate and nation today." said director Gregory.

The independent horror film, "The Kentucky Fried Horror Show" hasn't had a problem of attracting stars to co-star with Jessica Simpson. Hillary Duff also is in negotiations to star in the movie as well as a few known horror celebs. Their seems to be a growing market for hardcore horror movies in theatres and The Kentucky Fried Horror Show should fit the bill.
